The Formula for Success

The universe conspires to help you achieve what you want. You just have to find its rhythm and sync with it. Be on the move and actively pursue your dreams. You’ll eventually find yourself right where you desire to be.

You might wonder, “How do I even start?”

There’s so much to think about: resources, time, strategy, opportunity, money, to name a few. When anxiety, self-doubt, and cluelessness start to pile up, you can get overwhelmed and be counterproductive instead.

Stop for a moment. Breathe in, breathe out. I’ve got you covered.

What the news doesn’t tell you is that there is actually a formula for success. As part of his life’s mission of empowering 1 billion people to be happy, speaker, author, and entrepreneur David Meltzer shares to us the principles and practices that lead us closer to our goals.

So whether you’re starting from scratch or on your way to realizing your dreams, ride along. This will be one of the most insightful reads you’ll ever have.

Possibility to Probability

“Nothing is impossible”—there is more to this widely known quote than its usual motivational message.

If you come to think of it, all of us start with nothing. So how do you go from that to embodying your manifestations into a reality?

Step 1: Pay Attention

When you start with nothing, and you imagine what you want, it becomes a possibility. You do this by paying attention to what you want, who can help you, and how you can get it done. So the manifestation process starts by going from nothing to a possibility.

Step 2: Pay Intention

Intention inspires you. Start thinking, saying, doing, believing, and even feeling what it would be like to get what you want. You will feel connected to an omniscient, all-powerful source which fuels your spirit with inspiration. This allows you to take your possibility and raise the mathematical success to a probability.

Probability to Reality

This is the fun part.

The materialization and manifestation process takes your probability and transforms it into your perspective, your reality.

In this phase, you will need three action principles.

  1. Discipline

You have to be disciplined, but don’t forget to enjoy your consistent and persistent pursuit of the probability.

  1. Strategy

You need a strategy in shifting the paradigm. Find one which works best for you. As for David, his strategy is inspired by The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer.

  1. Awareness

Since the probability is already there, all you have to do now is use your free will and power to figure out how you’re going to interfere with it. This is called awareness.

David tells us to combine these principles with five daily practices, which he calls the New Day Resolutions. These are pragmatic tools that help with the entire process of transforming your possibility to a probability and finally making it your reality.

New Day Resolutions

The five daily practices involve knowing your what, who, how, now, and why.

Know your WHAT

First, know what you want. Take time to ask yourself what it is that you really desire personally, experientially, receiving-wise, and giving-wise.

Know your WHO

Instead of asking “how am I going to get that”, shift the paradigm to “who can help me get that.” This will immediately open you up to the possibilities instead of saying “I have to have every single step planned out.” You get to ask questions like “who can I delegate this to”, “who can support me”, “who has the answer”, or “who can show me the way.”

Know your HOW

Here is where you circle back to paying attention and intention to what you want. This is how you can get from nothing to a possibility, possibility to probability, and finally, probability to reality.

Know your NOW

When you know your how, you can already prioritize. Prioritization is the recognition of importance in your life and being able to do things now, being present.

Know your WHY

Once you know your what, who, how, and now, it’s time to revisit your why. Don’t search for your why. Apply it instead. It’s the best way to be statistically successful.

Gratitude and Coherence

Another important step towards success is knowing how to get in vibrational alignment with the things we want to create for ourselves.

Gratitude is the key to this reconciliation. It is the ability to find the light, love, and lesson in every circumstance. And that’s the common denominator of all happy people. So you can say that gratitude is essential to happiness.

Another benefit of gratitude is it teaches coherence. Without coherence, humans don’t remember what they want and they don’t do it. With coherence, it’s amazing how rapidly and accurately you can attract what you want.

If it’s that simple, why do we make it so hard?

Saying “thank you” is going to start the process.

Ask for more!

The key component that aligns with coherence is asking for help.

Appreciation is adding value to what you have, while acknowledgment is removing what you’ve appreciated from your being. You should not only appreciate what you have, but also acknowledge it, give it away. And then, when you have this big, new, empty vessel, ask for more.

Some are afraid to ask because they don’t want others to lose it—they won’t. The universe is constantly expanding and growing. When you ask, you’re adding to the universe, not taking away.

Asking for help is the superpower GPS. When you ask the universe for help, the directions you get are super-powered. Not only will it give you directions, but it will give you directions to the best place. It might not be what you originally wanted, but it’s definitely better because it’s the ultimate source that’s guiding you.

All set for success?

Don’t wait until you’re ready. You are a significant part of the universe and the universe always gets its way. All you need is that first step.

What do you want?

The easiest way to get to where you want is to ask for help from somebody who’s already in the position or situation where you want to be in.
