How To Inspire + Influence

 

When you feel connected and in harmony with intention, you sense a difference in how people respond to you. “The more closely you automatically resonate to the frequencies of the universal all-creating Source, the more others will be impacted. People will gravitate toward you, bringing peace, joy, love , beauty and abundance into your life.” Wayne Dyer

Your presence is powerful. It can inspire greatness, instill calmness, leave others energized and align others with beauty.  Maya Angelou once said, ““I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” 

So, how do we leave people feeling inspired? In my recent podcast episode with America’s Life Coach, Stephen Lovegrove, we discuss how you can make your energy something worth remembering.

It all starts with intention. What intentions are you bringing to your day to day life? Intention is often defined as a strong purpose or aim, accompanied by a determination to produce a desired result. It is a field of energy that flows invisibly beyond the reach of our normal, everyday habitual patterns. When you truly use your imagination to connect into the field of intention you create a mental picture. This allows you to participate in the act of creation. Intention is the invisible link connecting you to the power to manifest your own destiny. 

You need to be responsible for your energy.

From CEOs to students, it’s hard to not get caught up in money, social media, current circumstances, or headlines. But by choosing to cultivate a daily positive energy, you can effectively start the process of bringing that energy to others. Your impact on others – whether it be friends, family, strangers or co-workers is evidence of your strength. That connection you have to the power of intention. 

“You can’t fake authenticity”

People can see and sense “fake” from miles away. Putting on a facade and jumping in front of a camera in order to be perceived a certain way not only takes away the authenticity for the viewer, but also does nothing for you. In this era of social media, you have to honor your truth. Stop trying to play the part someone else was born to play. Walt Whitman put it: “We convince by our presence.” Ask yourself the question, “what does my energy say about me?”. The word inspiration means “in-spirit”. The fact that you’re primarily in-spirit means that you inspire rather than inform with your presence. You don’t inspire others by loudly insisting or demanding that others listen to your point of view. Instead, you allow your energy to resonate in their hearts.

So, what is your end goal?

Is your goal to win an argument or not be involved in drama. Is your goal to change someone else or accept others as they are? My end goal is to live a life that is fully expressed. One that stretches the boundaries of my highest potential and leaves the world a better place than I found it. Imminent such high vibrational energy that your authentic self shines through at any given time.
